Photography has become a huge part of the Google+ service. It makes it easy to publish our works and easy for others to follow us. The community there is awesome! A few people (such as Melanie Kintz, Eric Leslie, and Teresa Stover) started doing a different theme every day of the week. This has now blossomed into several themes for every day of the week. You can find lists of these themes on pages posted weekly on Google+ and on various blogs.
Many of the images posted on Google+ are fantastic but I could tell that most photographers were posting their best works — not that I’m complaining as they’re beautiful works of art — but I wanted to see what people were doing right then so I proposed a “Today Tuesday” theme where people would be encourage to post photos taken that very day. Of course, in the way of the Internet, I was asked to “curate” that theme to which I readily agreed.
I invite everyone to look through the history of these special days to see what can be accomplished in a 24-hour period for no other reason than you want to. You can see the latest posts on this theme by searching Google+ for #TodayTuesday.
